Me

Danielle-ah Nakashima is a seasoned fashion designer with a strong background in both men’s and women’s apparel. Most recently serving as a Senior Designer for Men's Tops at Dockers since January 2022, Danielle-ah previously held the position of Designer for Women's Woven Tops and Woven Sleep at Banana Republic, where leadership in multiple categories was demonstrated.  Additional experience includes senior roles at NYDJ Apparel, LLC, and St. John Knits, with foundational design training from internships at prominent fashion houses such as The Row and 3.1 Phillip Lim.

 

Danielle-ah holds a Master of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, cum laude, from the Academy of Art University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts (Fibers) from the University of Washington and an Associate of Art from South Seattle College. Danielle-ah also contributed to the academic field as an Adjunct Professor of Fashion at the Academy of Art University.
